Stuart Findlay was called into the Scotland team following an injury blow for Liam Cooper. Leeds centre-back Cooper was ruled out for up to six weeks after suffering a groin injury during his teams victory over West Brom on Tuesday, hours later Steve Clarke termed his Scotland squad. Clarke has gone to former club Kilmarnock to pick Findlay for the upcoming European Qualifiers against Russia and San Marino. The 24-year-old has been included in squads and played 35 times throughout the teams although findlay is yet to win a full cap. Both defeats were started by cooper against Russia and Belgium last month, alongside Charlie Mulgrew. Norwichs Grant Hanley, who hasnt played since August 24, and the Michael Devlin of Aberdeen are the from the squad. Aberdeens Scott McKenna and Hearts shield John Souttar have been missing through injury in recent weeks. Read more here:
