Former England head coach Andy Flower is to depart from the England and Wales Cricket Board. A former captain of Zimbabwe, flower, was in the head mentor role for five years between 2009 and 2014. England reached number one in the Test ranks in 2011, also won three Ashes series and the 2010 World Twenty20 throughout his tenure. The spent two years as assistant to the final five as coach of the England Lions, along with Peter Moores. The Ashes success in 2010-11 stands out. It is hard to win in Australia, and to do it so comprehensively was a really proud moment in my coaching career, said Flower. The triumph India in 2012-13 has been a highlight too.
