This week, we’ve got a Fight Pass card in Singapore. Since it is in Singapore, we have to wake up at 4:30am ET to see it live. I’ve already set the alarm and I will be up ready to sweat these early fights. DraftKings does not have many big tournaments this week so I will be playing more money games and less GPPs. I’ll still have 3 GPP lineups but a lot of my investment this week will probably be in money games. But, There’s still money to be won so here are a Couple of plays I like and my fade of the week: Cash Game play of this week — Stack, Leon Edwards ($8,600) AND Donald Cerrone ($7,600) Donald”Cowboy” Cerrone is never in a dull fight. Whether he wins or loses, his struggles generally score as a whole and the winner almost always pays off their price tag in DraftKings. I typically look for 100 total points if I pile up a struggle in money and that I think with this being a possible 5-rounds, it should score well more than that. Should Edwards win this battle, it’s probably an early KO, and if this happens he will score quite high. If Cerrone wins, then he could lock up a entry or a knockout and that will easily 10x his price tag of $7.6k. However, either way, you’ve got the winner at your lineup and the ensured 30-90 win bonus points should you pile. I believe this battle will be fun as long as it lasts and there should be a good amount of points added up before one of these two get completed. If this does go 5 rounds, these two should nevertheless get over 100 total points with the pace Cowboy brings to the table. GPP drama of the week — Li Jingliang ($9,200) Li Jingliang constantly puts on a show when he steps in the Octagon. He’s a fast pace fighter who scores very well on DraftKings when he wins. I believe he should be the fighter wherever this fight ends up against Abe. I also believe he could complete this battle on the feet or the floor and if this happens he would probably pay off his high cost of $9.2k. He is the 3rd most expensive fighter on the card and that I think he has the maximum ceiling. That is what we want in GPPs is a ceiling, so that is why Jingliang is my GPP play of the week. Underdog play of the week — Song Yadong ($7,900) Song Yadong is my favourite DraftKings”underdog” this week. His betting line has shifted to him being a small favorite at -120 but he’s $400 cheaper than his opponent. I believe saving that $400 is a fantastic transfer in cash or GPP games therefore I enjoy Yadong in all formats. I think Yadong will seem to maintain this fight on the toes and hunt for this KO win. If he can get the win, I think he should readily pay off that cost and get at least 10x. Fade of the week — Viviane Pereira ($8,800) My primary difficulty with Pereira is that she is too pricey. At $8.8k, I want at least 88 points out of her and I think she needs get an end to do that. I don’t see that happening and does Vegas with a +617 ITD line. She does not strike at a high enough speed or territory sufficient takedowns to evaluate 88 points in my personal opinion. In her 2 UFC wins she held her competitor against the fence for a good portion of the struggle and no points are being scored when that occurs. If she does this again here, there is no way she even comes near 88 points in spite of a win. I will have a complete fade on Pereira this week and that I will compensate for different favorites instead.
